Trainee Insurance Sales Advisor
Are you interested in working within the insurance industry? This well known and highly respected brokers are looking for a Trainee Sales Advisor. You will learn all about insurance and have exposure to handling different classes of business but at first it will be mainly motor insurance.
Each day starts with checking in-box for new overnight quote enquiries, loading them up and then contacting clients by phone or email to provide quotations.
You will also handle further quotations which come in through the day - typically these arrive by email
Administering existing policies - emailing new, mid-term and renewal documents to policyholders
Once an understanding of the administration is achieved you will be answering calls from new and existing motor client and incepting, renewing and amending motor policies by phone and email.
Making outbound calls to existing customers - to remind them they are shortly due for renewal or have just lapsed
Making outbound calls to previous customers and prospect customers - in an attempt to win back business lost the previous year
Other small jobs - franking and taking the post, drawing up lists through Excel for the aforementioned outbound calls, checking direct debit defaults. These jobs are generally rotated.
You will receive full supervision/ training to help with his role and that further training and development will be provided .
Salary is £23,500 plus benefits and bonus as you will have the opportunity to promote additional insurance products like legal expenses and breakdown cover.
Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm no weekends
100% office based
To apply it is essential that you have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a sales role. No insurance experience is required but the hunger and desire to learn is.
