Trainee Financial Adviser - Sheffield

Location: Sheffield (Office-Based)
Salary: £27,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you ready to build a meaningful career in financial planning? An established and reputable independent financial planning firm in Sheffield is looking to recruit a Trainee Financial Adviser as part of their long-term growth strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has transferable professional experience and is now looking to enter the financial advice profession with the support of a structured development path. Whether you’re from a background in sales, banking, teaching, the military, or professional services - if you’re client-focused, proactive, and eager to learn, this could be the start of something great.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting financial advisers in client meetings and preparing for reviews
  • Learning how to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Assisting with research, reports, and financial recommendations
  • Progressing through industry qualifications with full study support
  • Developing the skills and knowledge needed to deliver regulated financial advice

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a professional, people-facing role
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine interest in financial planning and helping people achieve life goals
  • Ambitious, ethical, and driven to succeed in a long-term advisory career
  • Willingness to study and achieve the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning but must have achieved the R01 qualification already
