Trainee Finance Administrator

£15,000 - £17,000

Our client is looking for an additional member of staff to join their busy accounts team. The role will be as a junior in the team, dealing with customer payments and assisting with purchase ledger whilst learning the nuances of the finance department. This is a junior role within the team where the emphasis is on finding an administrator with a reasonable academic background, particularly in maths and a willingness to learn and commit to a long-term finance career.

Duties will include: -

  • Payment processing
  • Accounts ledger work
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Petty cash
  • Other general accounts admin duties

They are looking for someone who can offer: -

  • A good level of knowledge in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • A willingness to learn

You don’t need to have previous accounts experience but an interest in accounts is a must. An ideal candidate will have a strong general admin background and be looking to specialise in accounts.
