This is a great first step on the ladder for someone who is early on in their career and has practical hands on skills with electronic, electrical, IT or mechanical experience, who would like to become a Field Service Engineer, and enjoys driving.
Initially your time would be split between driving the company van to deliver equipment to customer sites and the company storage depots, mostly in the South & Central Midlands, and being on site learning how to swap and install products, which are printers, interactive screens, photocopiers etc. and over time you will progress to full installation, repair and technical work and being a Field Service Engineer.
You will be good with customers, presentable, flexible, able to work to deadlines and service level agreements, and happy to work on a stand by weekend rota of one in 3 or 4 weekends, for emergency call outs only, for which you get a stand by payment and overtime if you are called out. Due to van insurance, you have to be over 21 to be considered for the role.
Benefits include company bonus, life cover, company shirts and vehicle, as well as training, progression and a great working environment!
Only those who fulfil the specified criteria will be contacted. If you haven't received a response within 2 working days then you have not been successful on this occasion.
