Main Purpose of Job
My client is an independent special school and care home which opened early 2016. My client caters for students aged 11 to 19 who have autism, and who may have learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The home and school occupy the same site and the care and education staff work closely together to achieve outstanding outcomes.
My client are looking to recruit competent, passionate care workers. Ideally you will have at least six months` experience within a similar setting, a good understanding of autism and hopefully already working towards your Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare or equivalent.
However if you do not yet have the Level 3 qualification but are committed to obtaining it, have the relevant experience, are passionate and committed to providing a high standard of care in assisting our students personal development then we would like to hear from.

The positions are Full Time
Working a rolling shift patterns of 2 days on followed by 2 days off commencing at 07.00 until 21.00 will include weekends and bank holidays.
