Trainee Erector/Erector

Rate of Pay: Standard Hourly Rate £8.00 for 42.50 hours with overtime thereafter

Overtime Hourly Rate £12.00

Travel Hourly Rate £8.00

Subsistence Pay £25.00 (non-tax)

Training should take 8-12 weeks, with rate increasing to £9.00 and £13.50 per hour on completion

Based in Leeds, with extensive UK travel

Our client are a growing external hoarding company covering the whole of the United Kingdom. We specialise in the Hoardtek external hoarding system, which is currently one of the few PVC hoarding systems erected in the UK. Our client base exists of all of the market leaders in the construction industry, and therefore we carry out all works to a high level of standard and health and safety procedures. We have been in business for 5 years, with annual turnover growing by on average 60% per year.

Hoardtek is looking for professional and experienced Skilled Operatives to work within small teams across sites all over the UK.

Trainee Erector / Erector

Applicants must

·Possess a valid CSCS card

·Have experience within the Construction Industry would be an advantage

·Be prepared to work away as and when required

·Possess a clean driving licence

Duties include

·Assist with the erection and dismantle of internal hoarding, external hoarding and scaffold cladding, including the erection of the framework, cladding and finishing;

·Ensure that all materials are cleared from each site visited unless given direct instruction not to by a supervisor;

·Ensure safe working practises are adopted at all times;

·Ensure you are wearing the correct PPE; that the PPE issued is fit for purpose.

·Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and well-structured manner, with consideration at all times to safe working practises;

·To raise all issues and disruptions on site directly with your Supervisor as soon as the issue is noted.

When in the yard:

·Ensure any works carried out in the hoarding yard are in a safe fashion in line with generic risk assessments as informed by your Supervisor. Any work that is deemed unsafe should be checked with the Hoarding Supervisor;

·Responsible for the picking of load lists and their accuracy;

·Assist with the monthly stock taking system;

·Raise any maintenance issues with the Hoarding Supervisor;

·A good level of housekeeping should be maintained at all times;

·Cleaning and maintaining stock when asked.
