Our reputable client based in Wimborne are recruiting for a Trainee Desktop Technician to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with IT problem reports sent to the IT helpdesk. This opportunity offers scope to grow and develop within a successful team and be a part of a market leading organisation.
- Helping to develop the IT helpdesk/ticket system to best support the business
- Being the main focus point for dealing with end user problem reports in the IT helpdesk/ticket system
- Manage new starters from an IT perspective including ensuring that equipment is available/configured and that they undertake an IT induction
- Performing computer installs/builds
- Raising issues to the System Support Engineer where appropriate
- Must have good communication skills and confident over the phone
- An interest in Information Technology.
- Experience of Microsoft Office of various revisions
- Ability to pick up new technologies/software quickly, quick learner
