Position: Trainee Data Analyst
Location: Hornbeam Park, Harrogate

Salary: circa 18K per annum dependent on experience

About the role:
They’re looking for more great people to join their team and this is an additional role with their Data Team. They’re a friendly and professional bunch and you’d be part of a small team. You will work hand in hand with a Data Processor, who will provide you with pricing information which you will then analyse and interpret to update the website with timely and accurate pricing information. It’s a fast paced and buzzing environment, so you should work well under pressure and be able to work diligently through your priorities.
You will be responsible for generating quotes from various online systems using Microsoft Excel (Using Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and other formulas to help identify opportunities) to collate and manipulate data. You’ll benchmark against market information and sales promotion knowledge to set pricing, compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to business priorities.
To be successful in this role you will be proficient in the use of Excel. Be able to spot opportunities in the data, as well as working in a team towards maintaining the company website. You will be adaptable and have flexibility in work prioritisation. A willingness to learn new skills and how to use them in your role.
