Trainee Customer Development Executive

Main job role when trained

1.Maximise the company’s turnover by helping to create new business and increasing existing client's spend
2.Helping achieve team sales targets

Responsibilities

1.To open up discussions with new and existing customers via the telephone
2.Identify new sales opportunities, using internet or other sales leads
3.To build relationships with existing and potential accounts to maximise sales opportunities
4.Promote "special offers" or stock lines with a view to increasing existing customers’ turnover.
5.Raising quotations and follow-ups.
6.Serving regular customers at the trade counter and encouraging additional spend.

Experience

1.Working with customers in a service or sales environment
2.Business to Business warm calling an advantage but not essential
3.Excellent communicator
