Our client is a major construction company who currently have an opening for a Trainee Construction Planner who will centralise all of our client's project and labour plans. In order to do this, general duties will entail:
Development of construction/tender programs;
Conducting site visits;
Reviewing contractor schedules and schedule risk analysis;
Produce progress/program reports;
Updating project and site teams with new planning information;
Management of critical paths;
Advise project teams of any potential threats.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in Construction Management and have a working knowledge of construction principles and processes. You should also have great communication skills and be confident in your use of IT.
