We have offices in Norfolk, London, Wiltshire and Dubai. In 2018 Morgan Price brought its claims team in house to enable us to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Claims settlement is the most important service that an insurance company can provide to its customers and has a huge bearing on whether out customers choose to renew their policy. Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all claims paid meet the terms and conditions of the plan
  • Administer, process from first notification to settlement
  • Assessing all claim documentation supplied by a policyholder and the relevant third parties
  • Guiding policyholders on how to proceed with the claim and keeping them informed at all times both verbally and in writing
  • Assessing medical information and reviewing complex medical histories
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate payment of valid claims
  • Assisting policyholders with general queries
  • Writing clear and accurate non-standard correspondence where claim circumstances require it
  • Ensuring system records are kept up to date and that all claim activity is recorded accurately
  • Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines
  • Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and quality standards set by the company
  • Identifying potential fraudulent claims and following the agreed processes for referral
  • Undertake other duties over and above those listed in the job description, appropriate to the individual’s skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Computer literacy and experience of Microsoft Packages
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent organisation skills, as well as a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential information appropriately and in an empathetic manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Approachable team player who is quick to adapt to changing priorities
  • Confidence in dealing with customers
  • A problem-solving approach
  • Negotiation Skills

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience
  • Previous insurance experience would be an advantage
  • Multilingual would be advantageous, especially if able to speak German
  • Experienced working within a highly regulated environment
  • Previous experience of international medical claims handling or medical knowledge is desirable
  • CII qualified or working towards is desirable
