An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cellular Pathology Department at Swansea Bay University Health Board as a Trainee Biomedical Scientist.

The department is continually developing services and as a BMS you would be at the forefront of developments such as the implementation of Molecular Pathology Services and the all-Wales Digital Pathology Programme.

Applications are invited from graduates (or students who are about to graduate) with an accredited IBMS degree in Biomedical Science or students who are about to graduate from a healthcare science practitioner training programme (PTP) degree.

The Cellular Pathology Department has an excellent record in achieving HCPC registration for Trainee Biomedical Science graduates who have not already achieved this.

We offer a wide range of development opportunites and CPD activities, and are currently supporting a number of staff through MSc courses.

The department is fully UKAS accredited under ISO 15189 standards and is well equipped with state of the art equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an enthusiastic and committed team and help us to continue to develop and strive to provide the highest quality service to our patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
