My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Tameside. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work directly with a Management Accountant and Finance Director to expand their knowledge and experience in finance in order to further their career and become a qualified accountant.

As a Trainee Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional and month end duties within the finance function. This will include assisting with producing monthly management accounts and providing commentary on performance to senior management, completing budgeting and forecasting, analysing variances to budget, business partnering with budget holders across the business, as well as completing profit and loss reports and analysing trends.

This role will suit a candidate who is either a recent graduate/school leaver looking for their first role in finance, or someone who has some experience in a finance function looking for the next step in their career. The salary on offer is paying up to £26,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes study support, hybrid working and a generous holiday entitlement. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with a Management Accountant and Finance Director who will help to develop and progress you to become a qualified accountant.
