Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a RECRUITMENT CONS TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OPERATIVE to join an established traffic management company.

The role and responsibilities:
Are you familiar with the principles of traffic management? Do you hold a current CSCS card and relevant LANTRA qualification 12A/B? Then you can build upon your experience and create your future with Britain's independent market leader.
At the heart of a team installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management, you will deploy cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on both high and low speed roads. With guidance from an experienced Foreman, you will usually operate from a purpose-built vehicle and will work in a small team/crew. At the same time, you will maintain detailed records, including traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses, so meticulous attention to detail is a must.
£28,000 - £32,000 pa plus benefits that include a generous holiday entitlement, training and pension.

We pay £110 per shift, 12 hour shifts and x5 per week. They are permanent contracts but this method of payment is the norm for TM.
On average with shift allowances it works out at approx £28,600 min to £32k, some of our operatives earn considerably more based on what patterns they work
Having been involved in both 12A and 12B works and possessing the relevant LANTRA qualifications (12 A/B or 12D), physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical, you will be keen to take the initiative and make your mark every day. Needless to say, you will hold a full UK driving licence (and preferably an HGV licence) and be capable of adapting quickly to changing circumstances. Above all, you will be effective at following clear guidelines whilst using your initiative, happy to work on a 48 hour contract including evenings and weekends, and keen to further develop your traffic management skills and career prospects.
