Transport Co-ordinator - £25k - Rochester

A Transport Co-ordinator is required for a large, family run Haulage company based in Rochester.

The Transport Co-ordinator will be joining a company that is going through a significant period of growth and an exciting time to join as there is an opportunity for growth and development.

The Package:

£20k-£25k
Monday - Friday (Flexibility required)
40 hours per week.
28 days holiday.
Company pension.

Transport Co-ordinator Role:

Plan customer loads efficiently and cost effective
Ensure agreed KPI'S and service levels are met
Report to the Senior Transport Planner with any issues or problems
Ensure route are planned within road transport directive and EU drivers rules & regulations
Liaise with customers & depots to ensure all targets & deliveries are met
Ensuring all work is accurate and up to date on the in house traffic management system
Ensure that all administrative tasks associated with the operation are completed to the required standard
Dealing with daily operational problems promptly and efficiently
Driver brief & de-brief

Transport Co-ordinator Requirements:

Must have previously worked for a General Haulage company
Excellent industry knowledge
Ability to prioritise workload
CPC would be beneficial
Must be an excellent communicator both written & verbally
Work well under pressure
Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Packages e.g. Excel, Word, Office
