In this role you will assist with assembling orders, operating a forklift truck and generally keeping the yard in good order. In addition you may also be required to assist with unloading daily deliveries when requested.
The role will sometimes involve meeting targets, order timeframes and assembling orders therefore flexibility is key for this position.
From time to time in this role you will also be required to undertake duties on the Trade Counter where you will engage with customers both over the phone and face to face. Candidates should be confident to take orders, pick products and also help with some office Administration.
As a Yard Operative at SIG you will be expected to adhere to the Zero Harm health and safety policy when undertaking all duties. The successful candidate is expected to have good character, be punctual, methodical in their work and enjoy team working.
