We currently looking to recruit for a full time permanent sales and customer care position within our clients sales shop in Cheltenham. Working as part of the sales team, you will be responsible for serving both trade and DIY customers on the trade counter, receiving and processing orders for picking, calculating quantities and quotations, advising customers on our products, as well as dealing with more general enquiries.
You will be responsible for serving customers in a polite and professional manner, following set procedures and office systems with accuracy, and the careful handling of customer payments. Quotations, invoices and sales orders are all computerised so familiarity with a keyboard is important.
Responsibilities also include dealing with phone enquires, as well as e-mail enquiries where appropriate.
Many products are manufactured or sawn to order to non-standard sizes and individual designs so a good grasp of measurements and basic calculations is essential.
A knowledge of the above products would be helpful, but is not essential as full training will be given.

Working hours are 8am - 5 pm Monday to Friday and 8am - 12pm Saturdays. Annual leave entitlement is 20 days plus statutory days during the first year of service, 21 days plus statutory days during the second year and 22 days plus statutory days for the third year onwards. 7 Days of annual leave must be kept back for the Christmas shutdown, but a holiday diary working on a first come first served basis operates for the rest of the year.
