Job Description

As the BMX coach of the new BMX Facility you will require to have your Level 2 BMX Certificate in Coaching Cycling (Qualified by 31st January 2019) , you will also require to have previous experience working within a cycling environment such as planning and delivering fun and safe sessions to a variety of audiences, good customer service skills and excellent communication skills.  Your ability to work on a flexible shift pattern, including evening and weekend working is essential as well as being peripatetic and able to work in locations across the city.

Following the success of Glasgow European Championships in 2018, Glasgow Life will welcome a host of world class events in the coming years including; European Indoor Athletics Championships 2019, LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships 2019, World Men’s Curling Championship 2020 and UEFA Euro 2020.  This is in addition to the wealth of events on offer throughout the year, with the annual programme including the World Pipe Band Championships, Glasgow Mela, HSBC Let’s Ride and the Merchant City Festival amongst many others.
