£25,350 - £32409 per annum
Our client is looking for a Tracheostomy trained Staff Nurse to work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker (with facilitation) for adults with brain injury or other progressive neurological condition.
You will be responsible for maintaining a safe care environment and will also be able to exercise professional accountability whilst protecting and supporting the health of individual patients / residents and assessing their care and health education needs. You will also be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient.
This is a great opportunity to gain further experience in Clinical Practice, Management as well as Facilitation and teaching.
You must also be willing to take charge of the ward/department/unit in the absence of senior nursing staff. It is also essential that you are willing to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.
You must have an up to date NMC pin and at least 2 years experience. It is essential that you are Tracheostomy trained and you must also have a high standard of written and spoken English as well as be keen to learn and develop your skills.
