An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded regulatory and risk assessment consultancy and play a key role in further developing their toxicological expertise. You will be involved in projects on a diverse range of products including industrial chemicals, agrochemicals and biocides. Your role will involve the evaluation of mammalian toxicology data, preparation of testing strategies for new data, human health risk assessments and compilation of the toxicology sections of registration dossiers.
You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team as a regulatory toxicologist. You will be able to deepen your knowledge of how toxicological science is used to regulate the chemical industry. You will be working with EU renowned endocrine disruption experts; work will include weight of evidence evaluation of potential endocrine disruption and technical advocacy to support regulatory issues.
We are looking for a well-qualified toxicologist who is interested in further developing career in regulatory toxicology. You will be working with highly experienced industry experts who will provide on-going mentoring and training; previous experience is preferable but not essential for the right person. Previous experience may include CRO toxicological testing, study monitoring, desk-based data evaluation, risk assessment. You may have experience with a consultancy, a regulator or in industry. You must be adaptable and flexible, interested in working on a broad range of issues and be a confident and personable communicator.
