We have a fantastic opportunity for a Town Planner to join a global multi-disciplinary and become part of a team involved in the delivery of a range of high profile projects.
Our client has an enviable reputation for holding one of the country's most successful Town Planning departments. The opportunity offers an interesting, challenging and varied workload allowing you to further develop personally and professionally.
You will be part of a busy planning team providing advice to primarily private sector clients spanning residential, commercial, retail, energy and education projects. You will be assisting senior colleagues on interesting and varied development projects which demand experience of planning application and site promotion work. In a supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to build on your experience as you progress with the team.
You will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning and have up to two years' post qualification planning experience gained in either consultancy or the public sector. With a proven ability to research and write high quality reports, you will regularly work to tight deadlines and as such, good time management is imperative. You will hold strong interpersonal skills enabling you to work as part of a team as well as independently using your own initiative. Your role will be client facing, therefore building strong working relationships will be an important part of your role.
