£30,000 to £40,000 Package + Benefits
Specialist Planning Consultancy is actively looking to increase the size of their Town Planning department and currently require an experienced Town Planner who probably has 2-5 years commercial experience and has either attained their full RTPI membership or is working towards this status.
Experienced in all aspects of the planning service including preparing planning applications, organising complete site appraisals as well as attending hearings and public enquiries would all make you a front runner. All work will be in line with the RTPI.
The role will involve getting involved in all aspects of the planning process as mentioned and will involve a high level of client contact. Covering projects around the South East you will be on-site on a regular basis but will also be given a flexible working pattern to enable you to develop your career as you see fit.
Work will cover dealing with both the public planning authorities as well as working with private organisations and in order to apply you must be able to work under minimal supervision and have a track record in working projects from inception through to completion
Town Planners hold a degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Town Planning or a similar discipline. Any experience in mentoring other Town Planners as well as taking the lead on complex projects would be highly desirable. Ideally you will drive in order to make getting to site straight forward. A MRICS qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
