Tour Operator Flight Supervisor

Fantastic opportunity within the travel industry! If you are an experienced aviation manager with a tour operator background then I want to hear from you. Must have out of allocation experience and strong GDS.

To support the UK Tour Operation in supervising the Commercial Aviation function and assisting in the delivery of the companies Aviation strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Managing the out of system range Allocation function including loading, reporting and transferring to GDS inventory as part of an agreed process.
*Supervising the delivery of the UK Tour Operator Aviation Function.
*Assisting in the negotiation and implementation of airline tactical opportunities.
*Auditing the GDS for stock and rate breaks once distribution has been advised.
*Assisting the Finance and Commercial teams in fulfilling IATA BSP procedures and reporting including ticketed reconciliation.
*Assisting the Finance and Commercial teams in dealing with Agency Credit/Debit memos.
*Supporting the UK Sales Centre on Aviation training and development.
*Assisting in the implementation of fares rules and GDS access for the UK Tour Operator.
*Assisting in Aviation Revenue Protection procedures.
*Assisting with the UK/European Staff Travel Policy.
*Assisting with the UK/Eu ropean Overseas Educational Policy.
*Supervising Call Centre/Commercial queries in relation to pricing/time limits and deadlines.
*Analysing traffic data by airline, by cabin.
*Championing the Aviation Function as part of the businesses 24 Hour UK/Europe Emergency Response procedure.
*Participating in the Product/Commercial Team Briefings and Weekly Meetings.
*Responsible for the monitoring and upkeep of al aviation marketing collateral including websites.
*Working with the UK Operations Team in managing the schedule change process.
*Updating the business on air related matters including capacity changes, route withdrawals etc.
*Assisting with the ticketing function during periods of increased production.

Key Requirements
*Proficient in multi GDS systems.
*Qualified to BA Stage 1/2/3 Fare and Ticketing strongly desired
*Knowledge of airline GDS (Galileo/Worldspan preferred)
*Tour operator experience
*Able to work weekends and travel overseas when required.
