Job Elements: -
·Reporting to the Category Manager, the Total Account Manager acts as a key point of contact for customer queries and driving key customer targeted campaigns through direct conversations with customers.
·Identification of prospects and lead generation using lead generation system
·Influence customers to meet our team/buy products and services/request price quotations
·Contact with national and independent customers to manage/maintain the relationship and act as a liaison between the plant and Regional Sales Managers
·Act as an account manager for a defined portfolio with the aim of growing sales and encouraging relationships
·Documents calls by completing forms and record logs
·Data entry and use of a CRM system. Maintain database by entering updates and checking information
·Preparation of quotations where necessary
·Ability to solve customer problems and advise customers where queries are raised
The ideal candidate will have: -
·The Total Account Manager is an energetic and proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experienced in dealing with customers at all levels with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to gain and utilise information to generate appropriate leads.
·Prior knowledge of CRM is a plus, training can be provided
·A good level of understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
·Persuasion & Persistence - Articulate enough to convince buyers of value in product/service being sold
·Customer Focus, understanding of customer needs and how to sell to these
·Data driven - Data Entry & Analysis Skills
·Professional telephone manner
·Understanding of the importance of Customer Service
·High energy, results driven with a motivation for sales
·Excellent communication skills
