Are you a qualified Audit Manager with experience of, or a very strong interest in, charity and not for profit clients? Would you like to work for one of the leading accountancy practice firms with a large and well established charity and not for profit department where you can gain exposure of both smaller charities and larger, international charities? If so this well known practice is looking to expand and recruit an ambitious Audit Manager due to many impressive new business wins from competitors. You must be dedicated to the charity sector and be able to add value to their impressive and growing list of charity clients (including SMEs and larger international clients). You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients (C£400k to £600k), actively get involved with business development and trying to grow your portfolio, reviewing work, managing staff and assist with the overall smooth running of the charity & NFP department. You will also carry out ad hoc assignments such as advisory projects, client fund raising events, marketing and attending charity specific functions and events. Your role will be varied and hugely enjoyable, and progression to Senior Manager grade with be offered for strong candidates.
To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Manager with experience of auditing charity and not for profit clients or a very strong interest in the sector. You will currently be working for a good quality UK based practice firm, with experience of the above duties, including managing a portfolio of clients. Your role must be at least 50% audit based. You will either be looking to continue your career in the charity and not for profit sector in a larger firm, or be looking to now specialise in this highly rewarding sector. You must have managerial experience and it is likely you will currently be operating as an Audit Manager although Audit Supervisors / Assistant Managers looking to step up will also be considered.
