Timesheet & Office Administrator

Turner Lovell is an international recruitment business operating in the electricity, oil, gas, power generation and engineering markets. We are looking for an experienced administrator to support our growing number of contractors working on customer sites across UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The successful applicant will work in a team and will support all timesheet administration, contractor compliance, database maintenance and office administration. The person we are looking for must have worked in a similar role (timesheet administration) within the recruitment sector. In addition, the candidate will require high levels of attention to detail, excellent written English, organisation skills, good interpersonal skills, and a proactive nature. This role is based in the city of London near Aldgate East station.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the collection and processing of contractor timesheets on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Coordinate and support all placement administration activities.
  • Provide support for contractor administration requests and compliance collection.
  • Support the finance team with weekly and monthly reports.
  • Research travel and accommodation for contractors.
  • Supporting Management on any administrative tasks related to sales, marketing and finance.
  • Database administration and maintenance.
  • Ensure that contractors' files are kept up to date.

Person Profile:

  • Previous experience in the recruitment or associated industry dealing with the provision of manpower services.
  • Experience processing timesheets for external contractors/freelancers
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Naturally confident, clear and strong communicator who is comfortable in dealing with all levels of staff including senior management internally or externally.
  • Previous PC experience with an advance level in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to use initiative, manage own time/workload and cope under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines.
