Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Surgical First Assistant to join a leading private healthcare provider within the busy Theatre. The Key details are -

Location: Hertfordshire- within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum / £20.51 - £25.64 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Theatre Manager to work within a Theatre Team in Hertfordshire. You will be leading the Operating Theatre services for the hospital which include provision of all sterile instruments and consumables, ensuring safe practises to all stakeholders. As a Theatre Manager you will be required to Ensure all Clinical Governance issues are addressed, e.g. through incident reporting, National joint registry, and new services and staff introduced safely. Ensuring all equipment and environments are maintained to meet the H&S requirements. Other requirements will include act on results from consultant satisfaction surveys, participate in clinical effectiveness committee reviews and completes actions where necessary.

Person Specification: to apply for this Theatre Manager role you must hold a valid HCPC Registration with no restrictions and a clear DBS check. The successful applicant must be an ODP level 3 with atleast 3 years previous leadership experience within a theatre department. For this position you must have a recognised management qualification and previous private sector experience. Obtain Sound written & verbal communication skills. Have proven ability to work in a team environment and independently. As a nurse we require you to have flexibility & adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
