Test Engineer - Machinery Directive EN60204
Our client is a successful global business services organisation operating in over 100 countries worldwide and employing more than 10,000 staff. They can offer long term stability and career development.
In this newly created role you will focus on the Test & Inspection of client based large industrial machines and semiconductor manufacturing equipment to EN/UL/CSA & SEMI standards.
You will perform tests for certification of equipment to a variety of standards and regulatory compliance regulations. Client facing, testing complex machinery on site across the UK with some limited European travel.
You will have strong analytical, problem solving & troubleshooting skills. An excellent communicator with strong relationship development skills you will be happy working remotely in the field travelling to clients with occasional overnight stays.
Skills and Experience
·Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
·Demonstrable experience in a technical product testing role
·An understanding of Compliance & Standards
·Any knowledge of the following standards will be advantageous
oSEMI - S2
·An ability to travel as part of your role
·25 days annual leave
