Looking for an Agile Test Engineer with a high level understanding of Software Architecture, not limited to UI, but an intimate understanding of an application, it's services, it's databases, integrations and more. We aren't looking for an Automation robot, but someone with an ability to identify whether or not to automate and the ability to deliver sensible test coverage.
As a Test Consultant you should be able to advise the business and customers according to their specific needs as opposed to a "One Size Fits All" solution. While a proficiency in Test Automation is necessary (it's part of the job!), you will spend quality time in carrying out Manual testing at API level, with most of your work being microservice orientated.
As a technical tester with a wealth of experience, you will not only bring in expertise in test automation, but also demonstrate your stakeholder management skills on the job. Translating your test automation efforts & strategy to non-technical team members would be one of the key responsibilities.
This is an ideal role for someone who has mastered UI & API test automation using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured/RestSharp OR Serenity
What are we looking for experience in:
- Building or improving automation frameworks in Selenium Java/C#
- Defining acceptance criteria for a user story or a test case
- Creating manual test cases from scratch and then translating them to a TEST CODE
- Comfortably working in a SCRUM style and participating in releases
