Territory Store Manager - The Job

You’ve extensive retail management experience behind you and hold an enviable record of building successful retail operations by exceeding business performance. Now you are itching for a bigger challenge and looking to build upon your retail management and business development talents. As a Territory Store Manager with Dulux Decorator Centres (DDC) that’s exactly what we can offer you.

You will have line management responsibility for 8 stores in your region as well being the driver to grow your regions customer accounts through field sales activity. You will provide guidance and support to develop high performing teams as well as embed our critical enablers of Perfect Execution and Operational Excellence to deliver all key commercial and strategic initiatives. A leader by example you will build strong internal relationships and analyse retail data to understand, interpret and act on KPI’s to ensure your area delivers top bottom line performances. We will also look to you to spot and develop talent, provide inspirational leadership to support a wide variety of people and champion our culture of succession planning and personal development. Your time will be split equally, (50/50) between managing and developing your teams within the 8 stores and developing new customer relationships through field sales.

Territory Store Manager - Requirements

Your background in retail operations and sales account / development you will have the commercial expertise required to be successful within this role. A proven track record of delivering exemplary results and the ability to build high performing teams and target orientated. You will be skilled at operating retail processes and systems and know your way around a P&L. You will be effective at budgeting and forecasting and understand the importance of good H&S standards. You will also have a solid understanding of how to develop and drive a regional business plan and have a proven track record of delivering sales growth by winning new customers as well as optimising and developing the existing customer account base by delivering on our Passionate Expertise concept. The successful candidate should also have previous experience of leading and managing team/teams.
