All contracts are commissioned through formal procurement procedures which necessitate the submission of tender responses that speak to robust contract specifications, key outcomes and performance targets.

Our Tender Unit team is responsible for crafting our tender submissions and due to continued growth we are looking for additional writers to join our team.

As Tender Writer you will be responsible for collating, writing and producing successful tender submissions in order to win contracts for the Group. With close support, you will organise multiple, complex tender submissions and take responsibility for writing clear, focused and logical tender documents, ensuring that style, content and branding are of the highest quality

Other duties will include:

  • Engaging with senior managers, operational colleagues and financial colleagues to obtain relevant supporting information: collating and coordinating responses.

  • Supporting the Tender Unit Co-ordinator with managing and monitoring tendering opportunities, e-portals and tender processing

  • Completing project plans for new tender opportunities

  • Attending provider consultation events and draft customer presentations as required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • An excellent level of verbal and written English

  • Experience of Tender Writing

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Educated to Degree level , preferably in English

  • Experience of working on time-sensitive projects

  • Flexibility and Enthusiasm

We have both Full Time and Part Time (17.5 hours per week) posts available which are homebased. They also come with an attractive salary upto £23,000 per annum (pro rata part time) dependent on experience.
