Your new company
A specialist care organisation, who work with young people who are considered hard to reach and who have behavioural and emotional problems. This organisations aim is to help improve behaviour and prepare young people for returning to their homes or be used as pathway planning for young people to develop life skills to help prepare care leavers to leave care in a safe and planned way.
Your new role
As a temporary support worker you will responsible for the well being and general safety of the young people in the home. You will be required to support the young people emotionally and domestically, carrying out all usual duties required around a residential home such as cleaning and cooking.
What you'll need to succeed
As a support worker you will ideally have or be working towards your NVQ Level 3 in health and social care. You will have a year or more experience within the industry and have a desire to work with and make a difference to the lives of young people within an EBD setting.
