Temporary Receptionist/Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Receptionist/Administrator in a friendly, fast paced office environment, based in the town centre of Southampton. This role would suit a recent graduate or equivalent looking for office experience. The purpose of the role is to provide administration support and general reception duties.

Duties for the Temporary – Receptionist/Administrator

  • Providing administrative support to a team of Recruitment Consultants
  • Ensure reception runs smoothly at all times
  • Dealing with all visitors that come into the office
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Answering all telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Updating and maintain the company website and various job sites
  • Using in house system to upload data
  • Editing word documents
  • Stock Control including stationary, paperwork and office items
  • Ad hoc duties as required, including posting items and keeping the office tidy

The successful candidate MUST have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT Literate – Strong understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrate a high level of care and attention to detail
  • Organised individual with the ability to multi-task
  • Friendly, professional and courteous approach to visitors

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:45am-17:15pm, Fridays 08:30am-17:00pm with 1-hour lunch.
