Temporary Purchase Ledger

Ideal Recruit are working with a manufacturing client in Pendle to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk. The position is to assist the Finance Manager for a period of approximately 6 weeks, paying £9.00 per hour.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing accruals & prepayments
  • Managing payment runs
  • Dealing with invoice queries/liaising with the relevant department to do so
  • Processing credit notes
  • Setting up supplier accounts and maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Ad hoc Debtor Chasing

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Strong IT skills & confident telephone manner
  • The ability to tackle the high volume of processing
  • To be able to work quickly and efficiently

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00am-17.00pm & Friday 8.00am-15.00pm and the client requires an immediate start.

The client is offering £9.00ph
