An educational facility based in North Manchester, offering a wide range of undergraduate, post graduate, apprenticeship and professional courses on full time and part time basis's, welcoming students in from all over the North West.

Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will report to the Purchase Ledger Manager and their responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Inputting invoices on to bespoke in house system
  • Providing administrative support to finance team
  • Maintaining and observing financial and audit regulations
  • Generating of purchase orders
  • Matching invoices and purchase orders
  • Investigating issues or abnormalities
  • Accounting for accruals and prepayments
  • Reconciling supplier payments
  • Managing high volumes of data
  • Reporting to the accounts payable team

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following key skills and experiences:

  • Working towards AAT qualification or already qualified
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Experience in reporting and maintaining records
  • Proficiency in IT software packages
  • Be immediately available to start work

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered:

  • £10-£12 per hour DOE
