Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a temporary Payroll Clerk position within a busy Accounts & Finance department in a corporate office based environment.
Your new role
In your new role as Payroll Clerk you will be working in a team environment reporting directly to the Payroll Supervisor. You will be allocated a specific area of branches and will be assist with the transfer of electronic timesheet date and help process data received. You will be responsible for calculating sick pay as per the Company's sick policy. You will liaise with branches within the company answering payroll queries.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent and relevant Payroll experience with a minimum of at least one year. You will need to be immediately available for temporary work. Excellent communications skills are highly important and relationship building skills, also you will have a respect for confidentiality. You will enjoy working as part of a team in a team environment and be a highly organised individual with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good IT and mathematics are essential to this role and a good working knowledge of Excel.
