Based in the heart of vibrant Shoreditch, Blackberry Cars is an established airport transport company. We provide airport transfers to London's major airports for our global clientele. Over the past 8 years we have expanded from a single driver to around 100 self employed drivers. We serve over 150,000 passengers per year, and at the heart of our business is the desire to provide impeccable customer service at all times.
We are now delighted to be offering an exciting new role of a temporary part-time operations manager. This is a new role, and we are looking for an experienced individual who has the drive and enthusiasm to make the role their own.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the running of our call centre, with a focus on staffing and quality control.
We anticipate the role including, but not being restricted to
Reviewing and improving existing call centre operational procedures and developing and implementing new polices and procedures with a view to improved quality of customer service.
Improving staff performance by
- tracking accuracy and performance of individual staff members
- monitoring and improving punctuality and attendance either in person at the office or remotely via cctv
- developing and implementing a system of targets and KPIs
- mentoring, training and coaching the team
Staff recruitment including
- assessing staffing needs
- both remote and face to face interviews
Providing a direct channel of communication between staff and directors. individual
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be a confident and self-motivated individual, who has proven experience managing and motivating a team. They will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and be committed to improving Blackberry Cars.
Hours and Salary
We are offering 3 month temporary position, 10-15 hours per week. We are flexible as to what days and times the successful candidate works, but they will need to be fixed days and times per week.
Blackberry Cars operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week, so some work outside usual office hours will be required occasionally to ensure you have contact with all staff.
At least 1 day per fortnight will need to be spent in our London office, with the remaining hours being worked either from home or on-site (train fares will be reimbursed if the successful candidate is based outside London).
Depending on how the role develops there may be the potential for this to become a permanent position.
The salary will be £30-£35k per annum pro-rata depending on experience.
