Your new company
A long established organisation in Edinburgh, this company pride themselves on being welcoming to all and are committed to growing their brand across Scotland. Dynamic, forward thinking and fantastic to work with.
Your new role
This role will involve a substantial level of HR advising on various case content to any level of staff within the organisation. Furthermore, this job will include generalist HR duties including attendance management, database management and data entry into their recently introduced HR system. As a standalone role, you will be responsible for maintaining HR administration, databases and working with the organisation's systems. You will give guidance on company policies and procedures, and have the opportunity to consider how these can be improved.
Available on a temporary basis, this role will initially be a 4 week ongoing contract with the potential to go on considerably longer.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful post holder will be a dynamic and engaging HR professional with experience in HR Administration and the ability to provide HR advice in a variety of cases such as grievances, discipline or supporting managers through employment law queries. Your experience in these areas will be demonstrable in your ability to "hit the ground running" when placed in this role.
A creative mind will be valuable in this role, with the ability to think a little outside the box in looking at how current policies and procedures could be developed.
You will be able to show initiative to plan your own workload and have the confidence to manage queries and processes autonomously.
What you'll get in return
Competitive salary dependent on experience ranging from £14 to £17 depending on your experience, plus generous holidays and a working week of 37.5 hours (circa).
You will gain the experience of working in a large and growing organisation with the opportunity to develop your skills in generalist and advisory HR processes.
