We are currently seeking a pro-active, organised and detail orientated temporary HR Administrator to provide general support, assistance and administration to the HR department.  This would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate who wishes to embark on a career within a HR environment.

Duties and responsibilities

General HR assistance (which includes data input, filing, telephone queries, correspondence)

  • Recording and monitoring employee data with regular HR system updates incl. annual leave, personnel details, contact numbers. Updating other staff data changes on the Group HR system
  • Data cleansing on Group HR system to ensure the validity and quality of data in line with GDPR
  • Coordinate the leaver’s process including the issuing of resignation acceptance letters
  • Conduct exit interviews and feedback analysis
  • Complete the DBS renewals for Office Employees
  • Basic administration and reports on the Group HR system
  • First port of call for HRBP’s on HR reports
  • Probationary process administration and manage probation completions Benefits administration as required
  • HR Inbox management (non-operational queries)
  • Continuous audit of personnel files and managing the archiving of files Meeting note taker as and when required
  • Maintenance of HR files
  • Scanning of HR documentation
  • Assistance to HR projects and initiatives
  • Manage all incoming Group reference requests incl. certificate of services, tenancy and mortgage references Quality check all new joiner packs once complete from Recruitment and support new starter process

Person specification

  • Ability to work on own, as well as part of a team
  • Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual
  • Strong decision maker whilst adhering to the companies ethical approach to debt recovery

Knowledge and skills:

  • IT literate with experience in using Microsoft systems and proficiency with databases Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Previous administration and office work
