The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a well-established and expanding manufacturing business, based in Kidlington, who are looking to recruit an intelligent and autonomous Finance Assistant to support their team on a temporary basis.

As Temporary Finance Assistant, you will report directly into the CFO and will be solely responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s finances. You will get involved in financial reporting, invoicing, preparing payroll, reporting weekly cash and sales and all other financial duties.

Our client works alongside their clients who are located globally and therefore, invoicing in different currencies (Euros, Dollars and Sterling), is a large part of this role.

This Temporary Finance Assistant role is part-time (24 hours) and our client are open to school hours and/or flexible working.

The Company

Our client are a well-established and expanding manufacturing business, based in Kidlington, with an excellent reputation for their specialist work.

This role is available on a part-time, temporary basis, with the client open to school hours and flexible working (24 hours per week within their core business hours).

Requirements

  • Experience within a comparable Finance Assistant or Management Accountant role
  • Exceptional organisation skills, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of using digital accountancy software, Xero or similar
  • Self-sufficient with the confidence to manage the day to day running of the finances of the business
