Temporary Customer Service Executive

Central London

Up to £12 per hour

Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking Sector, is currently seeking a confident and proactive Customer Service Executive to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The role would involve providing excellent service at all times, dealing with high volumes of customer correspondence from both business and personal customers.

The ideal candidate will be bright, customer focussed, have the desire to succeed and have excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Answering telephone enquiries from both personal and business customers; as well as email and letter correspondence

- Maintaining a customer-focused mindset ensuring that any outgoing correspondence is clear and accurate

- Inputting deals and processing breaks, reversals and amendments

- Ensuring queries are responded to within the agreed SLA timeframes

- Maintaining a strong knowledge of organisational products whilst being able to learn new products and systems quickly

- Representing the department when required in User Acceptance Testing, communicating results accordingly

- Attending meetings where relevant, acting as the departmental Champion on various topics and feeding back outputs

- Preparing and submitting reports for new customers and reviewing reports for existing customers on an ongoing basis

- Escalating issues and process gaps where identified and developing a knowledge of the risks posed

Skills and experience

- Proven telephone based Customer Service experience essential

- Previous experience of the Financial Services sector ideal but not essential

- A level qualifications or equivalent

- Maths & English GCSE grade C or above

- Outstanding communication skills

- Proactive attitude

- Excellent attention to detail

- Computer literate and Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

- Prioritisation skills
