2226 - Temporary CRM Marketing Executive - London - contract - £14.50 per hour

Our client is looking for a CRM Marketing Executive to use their email marketing and campaign management skills to support our clients student recruitment activities. As part of this they will build, proof and send targeted direct marketing campaigns via email using our clients technology suite (includes Microsoft Dynamics and MailChimp but also other email production and design tools). As part of this the post-holder will have creative and technical input into new email campaigns to improve customer engagement, working as an integral part of the Digital Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate email/digital marketing professional with a good understanding of marketing in a B2C environment and how to utilise email and other digital channels to support Marketing strategies. They will constantly seek solutions and ways to improve email campaign performance, processes and production in a pragmatic, efficient and effective manner.

You will undertake the following activities as part of the role:

Email campaign management and execution, involving:

  • Data segmentation for email campaigns

  • Campaign set-up, planning and priority management

  • Creating and editing email templates and other assets (images, buttons, landing pages) required for email campaigns, including SPAM testing and mobile/browser optimisation

  • Following HTML import processes and making amendments within raw HTML

  • Validation of the functional and rendering performance of emails

  • Management of the email revision and approval process through the deployment of proofs
  • Set-up and deployment of individual emails or as part of an automation
  • Provision of input to campaign owners on email content and layout giving support and advice on best practice
  • Post-campaign reporting

Utilisation of the email schedule and internal processes to ensure campaign dates can be achieved and where conflicts in timings occur reprioritisation is managed effectively.

Ensure that campaigns follow email marketing best practices and are compliant with data protection laws.

Stakeholder Management:

The post-holder will develop effective working relationships with a range of internal audiences, predominantly within Marketing, as well as IT Solutions and Services and other professional services departments. They will develop a knowledge of internal and external audiences and provide and communicate information which may be highly specialised to non- technical audiences.
