We are currently looking for an Autism Advisor to join our existing team at the Fife One Stop Shop. The service is managed by Scottish Autism and funded by Fife’s Health and Social Care partnership.

This post will involve working with the One Stop Shop Service Manager to ensure the delivery of a range of information, advice and post diagnostic support services for people with autism, families, carers and interested professionals.

In this role, you will promote awareness and understanding of the needs of autistic individuals across the spectrum among professionals and the wider community. You will be required to maintain relevant resources that are accessible and available to One Stop Shop users and identify gaps in any information resources and formulate actions to ensure needs are met. You will deliver and facilitate a range of programmes to individuals, families and professionals as directed by the One Stop Shop Service Manager.

Scottish Autism has undergone a period of digital transformation that resulted in all documentation and processes being managed online and electronically from April 2020. Training on the new system will be provided to all staff.

Scottish Autism offers you:

- 32 days’ (pro rata) holiday (which increases with your length of service)
- Non-contributory life assurance scheme
- Workplace pension
