Your new role

This is a role that will cover lots of different aspects of the accounting and finance process for this private sector business. As Accounts Assistant you will have wide-ranging responsibilities including the invoicing process, purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and running reports from the ledger. You will also be responsible for some credit control including chasing clients for payment, answering customer queries and taking incoming calls.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have practical skills within invoicing, purchase and sales ledger and credit control as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Any experience of Xero ledger system would be helpful but not essential. You should display a high level of accuracy, good customer service and communication skills and be well-organised.
