Berry Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Accommodation Administrator to join our client based in the Oxford area.

We are looking for a candidate who is organised and proactive who will be working mainly within a team to support the Deputy Accommodation Manager.

Role: Temporary Accommodation Administrator
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Hours: 09:00 - 17:15 - 36.25 hours per week
Salary: £10.74 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide assistance to enquiries made in the Accommodation Office
*Compile, distribute and manage College-Wide Fire Lists
*Organise and distribute undergraduate vacation residence applications - on a termly basis
*Provide support with the yearly Undergraduate Room Ballot
*Manage and issue daily list of Emergency Spare Rooms to various departments
*Handle the processing and invoicing of Bed/Breakfast reservations
*Assist with the purchase of accommodation-related items and maintain stock control
*Maintain stock of Accommodation Department radio systems

*Create files for residential events held
*Liaise with Conference Organiser
*Use our computer programme to allocate residential accommodation
*Liaise with Lodge to confirm arrivals and departures of conference guests
*Maintain status of "back-to-back" changeover notices
*Produce reports to generate bed night data

Rented Properties:
*Liaise with residents and letting agencies - via email and in-person
*Confirm and maintain residential inventories
*Conduct routine inspections

Candidate Specification:
*Customer service focus
*Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work in a team
*Attention to detail and accuracy
*Numeracy and spreadsheet skills
*Ability to work to deadlines and manage own workload when required
*Tact and confidentiality
*Experience of working in a college or hotel accommodation role would be advantageous ideally education to Level 3 with a minimum of a good pass at GCSE English and Mathematics. There may be discretion for the right candidate but good numeracy and literacy are vital.
*Organised and analytical with high attention to detail including strong written and numeracy skills.
*Creative approach to problem solving and "can-do" attitude.
*Results driven, customer-focused and passionate individual with desire to grow with the role
