SENIOR BUISNESS SUPPORT OFFICER
£13.31 per hour
***MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS***
Our client is looking for a temporary Senior Business Support Officer with Business Support and local authority experience, as well as excellent Minute taking experience.
- Sound knowledge of common Business Support systems used throughout the council.
- Good knowledge and understanding of customer business support requirements
Essential skills and abilities:
Good Numeracy and English Literacy skills
Advanced computer software skills required.
Excellent written skills; grammatical accuracy.
Excellent numeracy skills; accurate and able to analyse data.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to represent the work area and deal with customers
Able to demonstrate a high level of administrative and organisational skills
Able to accurately note/minute complex discussions
Experienced note and minute taker: able to accurately note/minute complex discussions
Able to use information systems and databases to accurately record information and generate reports
Able to manage and prioritise a demanding workload to meet service standards
Able to abide by the Council’s agreed employment standards: i.e. confidentiality, diversity, health and safety, data protection
Significant experience and competence using IT systems and common business support systems throughout the Council
Demonstrable experience organising and co-ordinating events and meetings
Demonstrable experience noting/minuting
Demonstrable experience providing business support activities, including preparing non standard documents
Demonstrable experience providing a customer focused service
For posts supporting Children’s Social Care and Family Support an Enhanced DBS Check will be required.
