Temp Purchase Ledger Clerk

A purchase ledger position due to the mass organic growth of the company. This role is highly likely to become a permanent position for the right individual.

Client Details

The client is a fast growing organisation in the centre of Bath


The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Receiving, coding, posting of purchase invoices with a high degree of accuracy, minimising errors
  • Meeting high daily processing targets, completing daily tasks as required and setting up new suppliers onto the finance system
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Ad hoc admin tasks when required


The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • To work to high degree of accuracy
  • Confident of dealing with a high volume workload
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, MS office, Excel and Word
  • Studying towards AAT or similar qualification
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • A strong focus on team ethic
