TEMP Finance Office Assistant
Job Location: Hayes (with parking!!)
Salary: £9-£12 per hour
£9-£12 per hour
8am- 4pm Mon- Thurs 8am-3.30pm on Friday!
This well-known local company are recruiting at an exciting time of growth!
They are bringing in a new companywide system/software which will go live at the end of 2018 and with this busy time of preparations fast approaching they require a roll up your sleeves team player to come along and support the finance office.
This role could even go perm!
This is a very varied role with all elements of accounts assisting the company finance director and his assistant!
The role will involve some of the following duties:
. Registering invoices on a daily basis
. Resolving invoice queries
. Matching, coding and posting invoices onto computer
. Answering and logging calls from suppliers
. Police compliance with financial policies and procedures, particularly in relation to the matching of purchase orders, goods received notes and invoices, and the appropriate authorisation of invoices
. Processing of invoices - including entering onto the Accounts Payable system, confirmation of calculation, matching to purchase orders, confirming authorisation’s
. Progress goods received notes requiring authorisation
. Assist in the effective and professional running of the Payroll Office
. Maintain payroll security and confidentiality at all times.
. Deal with any pay queries in an efficient and courteous manner.
. Ad-hoc assignments as requested, in line with the Payroll function
. Maintain up-to-date accurate payroll data and retain as per legal and Company requirements.
. Working as a member of the Accounts Team
. Photo copying & ad hoc filing as & when requested by the accounts team
We are looking someone who can start ideally on Monday 26th March!
The successful candidate will be bright with a good sense of humour but most importantly someone with experience perhaps as a finance assistant or someone who has experience managing invoices and supporting payroll!
