Telesales Manager

The Telesales Manager's role is to oversee the daily running and management of the telesales and retention channels and to oversee a Sales Team in meeting sales and retention targets as set by the business.

The Job Role:

  • Coaching, inspiring and motivating a Sales Team
  • Coaching, training and mentoring the frontline team
  • Ensuring that the team meets the sales targets
  • Monitoring random calls for quality assurance
  • Completing weekly/monthly performance reviews
  • Developing sales strategies to guarantee success and growth
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Disciplined use of internal systems, communication and customer management
  • Handling customer complaints and enquiries in relation to all retention activities
  • Forecasting and analysing sales data
  • Regular reporting KPIs to the Head of Customer Services & Telesales
  • Keeping to targets and managing KPIs

Experience / Requirements:

  • A good understanding of the market dynamics in the respective sector
  • Strong, proven success in a similar role
  • Experience in managing a Telesales/Retention Team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • A demonstrated ability in coaching, training and developing frontline personnel


  • 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
