We are looking for a Head of Telesales within our Card Acquiring team based in Basildon, Essex.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of Telesales Consultants who are tasked with new client acquisition via the conversion of qualified leads, partner management and the generation of self-generated referral business.
You will successfully lead the team to deliver sales and behavioural objectives against targets and drive the sign up of both new to card merchants and those who use a competing acquirer service.
You will be accountable for high level contact and negotiations with key stakeholders, identifying sales opportunities and developing short/medium term sales plans, working with senior management to develop business/sales/client strategies, leading and coaching the team including performance management, utilising CRM and pipeline management tools and full implementation and migration management.
Full knowledge of card acquiring payment and data solutions.
Working knowledge of acquiring schemes, their drivers, industry dynamics, interchange and future product service deliverables.
An up to date knowledge of Industry related technical development.
Knowledge of relevant third party suppliers (e.g. technology) and partners.
An exceptional sales and profit performance record.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Proven success rate in negotiating
A sales/business development background.
A Team Leading / Line Management background.
